Caregiver Part-Time

About the Role

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants grow, learn, and live well by developing meaningful relationships.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least one year (post-permit) and a clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time 24 hours; Various weekdays 2p-10p, every other Sat/Sun 2p-10p.
• Part-time 24 hours; Every Sat/Sun 8a-8p.
