Caregiver Part-Time

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Pay $17.00 per hour. Part-time positions available.

Available Schedules

• Part-time, 24 hours: Various weekdays 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
• Every other Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
• Part-time, 24 hours: Every Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license held for at least one year (post-permit)
• Clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita's insurability policy

Responsibilities

• Help people grow, learn, and live well
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist people with personal hygiene
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
