About the role
English Rose is seeking a Part-time Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team to provide care & engagement with our residents. Our current opening is every other weekend from 2 PM–10 PM, with additional shifts potentially available based on staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to Residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
- Support Residents by preparing meals, distributing medication, housekeeping and laundry services.
- Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for the enrichment of our residents lives.
Requirements
- Relationship focused compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA).
- Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being.
- Able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening.
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of your shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required).
Qualifications
Wage Range: $17 - $24 per hour based on experience, certification & expertise.
Shift times: 2p-10p (every other weekend required).
