Caregiver - Part Time, 20 to 40 Hours a Week
About the role
Haven Home Care is hiring caregivers in Summit County, Ohio. The position is part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours.
Responsibilities
- Help people in their homes with tasks such as baths, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, running errands, and providing companionship.
- Do not give medicine or perform medical tasks. These are handled by nurses.
- Work flexible hours between 6AM and 8PM, with shifts ranging from 2-3 hours to 8 hours depending on client needs.
- Drive time between clients is compensated.
Qualifications
- STNA license: $18/hour
- HHA certificate or experience: $16-18/hour based on interview
- Free training pathway: $16/hour
- $100 after 30 days with perfect attendance
- $300 when you refer a caregiver who stays — $100 at 60 hours, $200 more at 200 hours
- $75-$1,500 when you refer a private pay client, based on their hours

We require a phone interview to discuss your availability and qualifications. After the interview, you will take a short online questionnaire and a test if needed. Once qualified, you will complete online orientation and document check, followed by fingerprinting.

If you can travel anywhere we have clients and work with any client, you will start working quickly. We always have clients available, and if there's no immediate match in your area, you are first in line when one opens up.

"Flexible" means the days and times you told us you can work. It does not mean calling off whenever you want or skipping shifts you don't feel like doing. Our clients rely on you to show up, and fewer hours do not mean lower stakes.
