About the role

We are seeking Caregivers to join our team and help make a difference in our Assisted Living and Memory Care departments. PM shifts available. We are looking for candidates who intend to be a part of our team for years, not months.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and privacy
• Support residents' mobility by helping with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging them in conversations and activities
• Assist in serving meals and feeding when necessary, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties and following infection control protocols
• Follow individualized care plans for residents
• Encourage and support residents' independence and autonomy whenever possible
• Assist with prepping and escorting residents for appointments or community activities
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols
• Document resident care activities, observations, and interactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge
• Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and HIPAA guidelines to maintain resident confidentiality and safety

• Must be able to clear post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Proven ability to safely assist clients with ambulation and mobility, both within the facility and during external appointments or activities
• Extensive experience in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Bed-making and linen management
  • Meal service and assistance with feeding when required
  • Personal laundry management
  • Assistance with showering, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Support with dressing and undressing
  • Oral care and hair care
  • Safe transfers and ambulation assistance
• Thorough understanding and strict adherence to resident service plans
• Exceptional observational skills with the ability to identify and promptly report any changes in resident condition or safety concerns to medical technicians and supervisors
• Comprehensive knowledge of Title XXII regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance at all times
