Position Overview

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role specifically supports our Assisted Living, AL Memory Care and Independent Living residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
  • Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to hygiene care, incontinence assistance, bathing & grooming.
  • Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
  • Answers residents call lights promptly.
  • Safeguards residents who are unable to call for help by checking them frequently.
  • Aids clinical staff to make residents comfortable (i.e., check sitting position, hydration passing, etc.).
  • Aids with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED/HSE is preferred.
  • 0-1 Years of relevant experience is preferred.
