About the role
We're seeking reliable, compassionate individuals with experience supporting others to join our team as private duty caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Provide care as agreed upon by the client, client's family, and RNS case manager
- Auxiliary with activities of daily living, including support for Alzheimer’s & dementia clients, vitals, patient transfers, fall prevention, bathing, home tasks, documentation, medication reminders, and pain management
- Safe transportation and running errands as needed
- Work comfortably in homes with pets when applicable
- Follow all RNS policies, including HIPAA, standards of conduct, and dress code
- Maintain current CPR certification (or complete within 90 days of hire)
- Maintain current TB test (or complete within 90 days of hire)
- Responsible for working all assigned shifts and ensuring coverage if unavailable
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Background in healthcare, behavioral health, DSP, teaching, childcare, or similar field preferred
- Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policy
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities
- Daily access to RNS email
- Fluent in English
- Able to perform all physical and mental requirements of the role
