Caregiver Needed Immediately

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, and oral hygiene.
• Support clients with limited and standby transfers using assistive equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
• Encourage client independence and respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Notify supervisors of any health or safety concerns, changes in client condition, or unsafe environments.
• Provide secondary tasks such as laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep as needed.
• Assist only with self-administration of medications, without direct medication administration.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience validated through references.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow instructions, utilize safety precautions, and demonstrate compassion and professionalism.

Accountability

Personal Care Aides report to the Home Care Manager regarding client care and to staffing managers for scheduling and staffing issues.
