About the role

The role is available in Kutztown, PA and surrounding areas. This is a part-time position with hours from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home
• Aid with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Remind clients about medications, document their condition, and report any concerns to a supervisor
• Ensure a safe home environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways
• Engage clients in activities that bring them joy such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active CNA or HHA registration in PA
• One year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid PA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation
• Necessary experience with dementia/alzheimer's care
• Experience working with clients who have limited mobility
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
