Caregiver Needed

About The Role

You will be assisting a sweet, 90 pound teenager who uses a wheelchair and needs help with daily living activities. We’re looking for someone who brings patience, kindness, and a caring spirit to their work. This is a part-time position and must include one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all activities of daily living, including:
  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Toileting
• Safely transfer a 90 pound teenager from wheelchair to bed
• Drive to physical therapy (transportation provided)
• Provide companionship and supportive care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Caring, compassionate personality
• Comfortable with hands-on personal care
• Ability to safely perform physical transfers
• Credentials including CPR/First-Aid, TB Screen, Driver's License, MVR
