Description
Reliably Home Care Providers, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly female client in Mundelein, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair/chair.
- Assist with toileting and hygiene.
- Prepare and assist with feeding lunch.
- Accompany the client outdoors and push the wheelchair for short walks around the neighborhood.
- Perform light housekeeping, including:
- Laundry
- Cleaning the bathroom after use, as needed
- Cleaning the kitchen after meals, as needed
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous caregiving experience, especially with Parkinson's disease, ALS, or mobility assistance, required.
- Experience with safe transfers and personal care.
- Caregiver must be compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Ability to lift and safely assist a client weighing approximately 90 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
