About the role

As a caregiver, you have the unique chance to provide both physical and emotional support while forming genuine connections with our residents. This is more than just a job—it is a way for you to cultivate essential life skills such as patience, empathy, and effective communication. You will find fulfillment in knowing that every day, you are positively impacting the lives of our residents.

Currently, we have midnights available, 10 PM–6 AM. We have room for growth; we start everyone as a caregiver and are able to train you to become a Med Tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Maintain the cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts
• Follow schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Follow procedures regarding documenting of medications
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety
• Assist other team members with their duties
• Complete all required documents and charting
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Every other weekend is required
