Caregiver-Member/Activity Assistant

About the role

The Member Assistant position at Elite Day Center of Columbia is dedicated to providing hands-on care, serving meals, and engaging Members in activities to promote their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to Members/Clients at the Day Center
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
• Serve catered meals and snacks according to instructions
• Provide companionship for Members and engage them in activities throughout the day
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the Members of the Center
• Ensure the safety and well-being of Members during their time at the Day Center

Requirements

• Experience with Activities/ADL care for Older Adults with Memory Concerns such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia (preferred)
• Experience with Activities/ADL care for Special Needs Young Adults, 18+
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings
