Caregiver / MED TECH - Night shift - Carmichael, CA

About the role

We are seeking a Caregiver / Medication Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will dispense medications to residents in our Assisted Living community and oversee care and medication needs in our Memory Care Wing. Previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the resident care director on resident changes, medication updates, and other relevant information
• Ensure the department remains Title XXII compliant at all times
• Follow all medication guidelines provided in medication training
• Pull, pour, and assist residents with medications
• Ensure resident care is delivered per assessment and document accordingly
• Assist with med-room tasks
• Assist and manage resident emergencies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Medication Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Previous supervisor or management experience
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Must be able to clear a post-offer fingerprint background check and employment physical
