Caregiver Japanese Speaking

TheKey is hiring bilingual caregivers for part-time, day, and night shifts in Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Torrance, and Orange County. Individuals who speak Korean, Tagalog, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese are encouraged to apply. We provide culturally sensitive, non-medical home care enabling Japanese older adults to live independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes
• Execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Complete daily tasks safely and professionally (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs)
• Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation
• Maintain order, safety, and client enjoyment as top priorities
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
• Handle administrative tasks such as documenting completed tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior

Requirements

• Bilingual (Japanese and English)
• PCA, CNA, or GNA certification preferred
• HCA/PER ID preferred but not required (assistance provided to obtain)
• Alzheimer’s or dementia experience is a plus
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness are essential
• Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in various situations
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Basic computer skills and technical savviness
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and provide references
• Reliable transportation to and from work
