Caregiver, In-Home Care for Aging Adults (L-FT)

About the role

Our mission is to empower aging adults in the comfort of their own homes. We are hiring full-time and part-time Caregivers to service Douglas County: Lawrence, Linwood, Ottawa, Baldwin City, and nearby areas.

Job Duties

• Light housekeeping tasks.
• Companionship.
• Personal Care - Bathing and grooming.
• Mobility Assistance, Safety.
• Dementia Care.
• Transportation.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school or equivalent education (Preferred).
• Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred).
• Licenses/Certifications: Driver's License.

Work Location

• Caregiving duties are performed at the client’s home.
• Some in-office training as needed.
• 3 years of driving history required.
• Reliable and insured transportation.
• Motor vehicle, criminal background checks, and drug screening, including marijuana required.

Salary

Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour. Depends on your schedule flexibility and experience. There is also a bonus opportunity of $2.50 per hour for working specialized shifts or working outside of your home county.

Shifts Available

• 4, 8, 10-hour shifts available.
• Afterschool, day shift, overnight shift, weekends, night shifts, holidays, on-call, overtime, and more.
