What You’ll Do
- Providing meaningful conversation and companionship
- Assisting with daily activities such as walking, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Supporting clients with hobbies like games, gardening, or crafts
- Medication reminders and updates on client well-being
- Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior
- Communicating with the care team and documenting care tasks in our caregiving app
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- CNA or HCA certification (required)
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobility
- Must pass Washington State background and exclusion checks
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must live in or be able to commute Gig Harbor
- For caregivers providing transportation: Valid driver’s license
