Caregiver/In-Home Care Aide (Birmingham Metro, AL)

About the role

We provide one-on-one, non-medical home care services that allow seniors and adults to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. This is relationship-based care - not facility work.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support).
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping related to client care.
• Errands and transportation (as needed).
• Documentation and communication with the care team.

Requirements

• 18+ with high school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Birmingham Metro.
• Valid driver's license and Insurance.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and stand/walk for extended periods.

Pay

$14.00-$15.00+/hour (based on case type).

Schedule

Part-time & Full-time. 1-12 hour shifts. Open, weekend, or evening shift preferred.
