About the role

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable, and caring caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors throughout Lanesborough, MA and surrounding communities. Pay

Hourly wage: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications.

Qualified new caregivers can earn a $250 sign‑on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week with no unexcused absences during that period.

Schedule

Flexible and consistent scheduling options are available, including 2‑ to 12‑hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, weekday and weekend opportunities, and short 2‑ to 4‑hour shifts as well as 8‑ to 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
• Providing companionship and emotional encouragement
• Preparing meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
• Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
• Running essential errands when needed
• Providing medication reminders
• Observing clients and reporting changes to the appropriate supervisor
• Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Providing respectful, dependable, and compassionate care
