CAREGIVER / HOME HEALTH AIDE - THOMAS COUNTY

About the role

Caregivers provide various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care. They assist patients with activities of daily living, perform general housekeeping activities, offer transportation assistance, and provide compassionate companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of direct care
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Performs general housekeeping activities
• Offers compassionate companionship to patients
• Provides transportation assistance to and from activities and appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older with valid driver’s license
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum of six (6) months of caregiving experience (professional or familial)
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
• Accountable, reliable, and able to work independently with good judgment
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check
