Caregiver / Home Health Aide

Responsibilities

• Execute the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with personal hygiene including skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Perform household services including housekeeping and laundry
• Assist clients with medication reminders for ordinarily self-administered medications
• Report changes in the client's condition and needs to the administrator or care designer
• Complete records regarding services performed
• Drive clients to appointments or run errands
• Accurately record all hours worked
• Remain alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance; respond immediately by providing required assistance or calling the Company for guidance
• Participate in all required entry-level and annual training requirements
• Maintain an active home care aide registration with the State of CA Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee

Qualifications

• Active home care aide registration with the State of California Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau (required)
• Must be able to commute to Atherton, CA (required)
• Must be able to relocate to Atherton or nearby areas before starting work (required)

Schedule

Part time / Full time positions available. Overnight shifts available. Day Shift, Night Shift, and Overnight shift options.

Pay

$23 – $25 per hour
