About the Role

We are hiring caregivers for flexible day shifts with competitive pay. Choose the shifts that fit your availability and enjoy a supportive team that values your work.

• Long Day Shifts - $20/hour
• Short Day Shifts - $23/hour
• Per Diem / Flexible Scheduling
• Opportunities for additional shifts and pay increases based on client needs and caregiver availability

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life at home
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support mobility and safe transfers
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Give medication reminders
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation
• Observe and communicate changes in a client’s condition
• Follow individual care plans
• Complete required documentation
• Provide dependable, compassionate support to clients and their families

Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or family caregiving considered)
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting clients)
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with clients, families, and the FirstLight team

CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not required for all positions.

Pay
