Caregiver/HHA Waynesboro

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Auxiliary with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Maintain vigilance over clients' health and behavior

Requirements

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Careful, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
