Caregiver/HHA Laurel

Responsibilities

• Aid clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and remind clients of their medication schedules.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks like laundry and linen changes.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with elderly clients is preferred.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Caregiving experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Caregiving experience understanding dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions.
• Caregiving experience with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Criminal background check and drug screening required before employment.
