Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Auxiliary with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
- Maintain vigilance over clients' health and behavior
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
Requirements
- Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred
- Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Careful, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
