Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship with dignity, compassion, and care
• Assist with daily living tasks, including:
  • Feeding and medication reminders
  • Bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Grooming and toileting
  • Light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings
• Provide standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required (CNA, HHA, or 6+ months of experience caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred)
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Must pass a criminal background check (national and state-required)
• Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test
• Physically able to perform duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling approximately 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel up to 15 miles for scheduled shifts
• Compassionate, mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Excellent communication skills

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
