Caregiver, Habilitation

About the role

BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Caregiver for individuals with Autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Participate in community integration activities, errands, and appointments.
• Patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow.
• Opportunity to enhance caregiving skills with support from our clinical managers.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

Requirements

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or Developmental disabilities.
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Pay

$20 and up based on experience.

Schedule

Weekly Pay; Flexible scheduling; Short commute times (matching you to opportunities in your community); Mileage reimbursement.
