Caregiver Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Shifts: Days of the week may vary and will include weekend and holiday rotations.
Casual Call: Build your own schedule - 3 shifts a month; 2 on the weekend, plus on-call rotation
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking Caregivers to join our communities located in Onalaska, Holmen, and La Crosse!

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and home-like environment for elderly residents in residential care apartment complex and in individual assisted living units.
• Absorb residents in all areas of grooming and personal hygiene on as needed basis.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks like laundry, making beds and changing linens.
• Assist with meals and clean-up.
• Assist as support staff for medical visits and recreational activities as needed.
• Maintain progress notes and data frequency counts.
• Document incidents as they occur.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 6 months experience
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate with team members, residents, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills

Pay

• Starting rates are between $17.00 and $25.25 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications, and which unit you are working on.
• Increases upon successful orientation completion (usually between 100 days and 6 months).
• Regular wage reviews – we pay for high performance!
