You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry, cooking/meal preparation, and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required; CNA, HHA, or 6+ months caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Physically able to perform duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling approximately 25 lbs
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of valid automobile insurance
• Compassionate heart for older adults
• Excellent communication skills
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable

Pay

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time and part-time options available. Flexible scheduling — we work with your schedule.
