Caregiver for Residential Program

About the role

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you'll assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. You'll help participants grow, learn, and live well by developing meaningful relationships, taking initiative to involve them in community activities, and supporting their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what's right for participants
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Schedule

• Part-time: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other weekend, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Part-time: Every other weekend, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
