Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services
• Support adults in staying safe and independent at home
• Perform tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding, range of motion/exercises, assisting with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices), and medication reminders

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience preferred, but not required
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts and locations
