Caregiver for Elderly

About the role

As a caregiver at HomeWell, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of those we serve. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions, meal prep, bathing, grooming, toileting, social interactions and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with their daily activities
• Prepare meals for clients
• Bath and groom clients
• Toileting assistance
• Engage in social interactions
• Perform light housekeeping tasks

Requirements

• Pass a finger-print based criminal background check
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation, ability to drive clients preferred

Skills

• Caring and compassionate
• Sociable and trustworthy
• Service-minded
• Experience in cooking, cleaning, or caring for others is a plus

Characteristics

• Self-motivated
• Willing to learn through experience and feedback
