About the role

Caregivers at Emsa Home Care LLC provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care while maintaining clear communication with families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Monitor and document clients’ health conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or recreational activities as needed.
• Administer medications under supervision and ensure timely reminders for clients.
• Follow care plans and maintain clear communication with family members and the care team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in caregiving or home care services.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred but not required).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
