Caregiver – Flexible Shifts | $18–$23/hr | Orange County

Caregiver / Home Care Aide position with CareWorks Health Services, providing one‑on‑one in‑home care for clients throughout Orange County.

Pay

$18‑$23 per hour, weekly direct deposit every Friday.

Schedule

• Flexible shift availability: morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts depending on client needs.
• Open shifts communicated by text, email, or directly through schedulers.

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience as a caregiver.
• Must have a Home Care Aide (HCA) number or be willing to obtain one.
• Willing to complete a required Live Scan/background check.
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
• Compassionate and respectful toward clients.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Reliable attendance.
• HCA registration fee (~$35) and Live Scan fee (~$70‑$90) are reimbursable after completing 30 hours of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Incontinence care.
• Mobility and transfer assistance, fall prevention, and safety support.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines.
• Companionship and client engagement.
• Grocery shopping and approved errands.
• Accompany clients to appointments and approved outings.
