About the role

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers in Sarasota to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. If you're looking for flexible shifts that fit your availability while doing work that has purpose, this could be a great opportunity for you. Most of our current openings are weekday daytime shifts, although schedules vary based on client needs. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Providing companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and our office team
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
