Job Description

We are looking for trusted and heartfelt CareGivers to join our Home Instead Family! Clients will put their trust in you to support their everyday living needs!

We at Home Instead are looking for individuals with the ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect; Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner.

Primary Personal Care Responsibilities

• Companionship and Conversation
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Assisting with bathing/toileting/grooming
• Meal preperation
• Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms/kitchens etc.)
• Accompanying/remind clients of appointments/errands

Additional Specialized Service Responsibilities

• Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia care
• Hospice/End of life care
• Bedbound client care
• Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life
• Maintain regular communication/documentation with supervisor and franchise office staff

Secondary Responsibilities

• Complete required training designated by franchise office
• Document client information in Client Journal or within the operating software app
• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state identification
• Possess valid auto insurance
