Caregiver / Direct Support Professional – Griffin, GA

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive presence throughout scheduled standby hours
• Aid with personal care and/or moderate care needs as required (mobility support, standby assistance, ADL support)
• Support safe movement and transfers as needed (no heavy total-care unless specified)
• Maintain client well-being and report any changes to office staff
• Encourage hydration, nutrition, and general wellness routines
• Maintain clear, timely communication with care team
• Respond appropriately if client needs escalate during shift

Requirements

• CNA, PCA, or relevant caregiving certification preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification (CURRENT and REQUIRED — must be up to date at time of hire)
• Current TB test
• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check
• Professionalism, patience, and strong reliability
• Comfort working weekend standby assignments
