Job Overview
As a member of our team, your role of Caregiver/Direct Care will involve supervising and directly training patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs. You'll be working in a beautiful residential apartment/home-like setting, offering skilled instruction and supervision to patients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.

Benefits

- Opportunity to earn up to $18.25/hr. within six months through our continuing education program.
- $1/hr. shift differential for those regularly scheduled to work the 3pm – 11:30pm shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach, monitor, administer and document individual patient programs including ADL's and therapeutic home programs in English.
- Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.
- Ensure for the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, and throwing objects.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a valid Driver's License, with a clean a driving record.
- Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.
