About the role
Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park is accepting applications for Caregivers to support residents within our community. We are looking for compassionate, caring, responsible, and honest individuals who genuinely love working with the senior population.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care
- Manage medication as allowed by the state
- Complete daily progress reports of services provided
- Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (chart by exception)
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- No experience necessary — training will be provided for the right person
Physical requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care
- Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement required throughout the workday
