Caregiver/ CNA / PCA – Home Care

About the role

A companion is responsible for providing a variety of non-medical services including safe and efficient accompaniment to a resident. Also, to join a resident to and from medical appointments as well as other activities to meet the daily needs of the residents.

Qualifications

• Pleasant personality and telephone etiquette
• Possesses a high level of proficiency in the essential functions of this position
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assure provision of care and service, based on physical, psychological/social, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the residents served
• Must be able to read and effectively write in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Possessing an understanding of geriatric care
