Caregiver/ CNA OVERNIGHTS

Compensation: Hourly, paid bi-weekly. Location: Spencer, Iowa.

About the role

As a Caregiver/CNA at Stay in Home Care, you will provide assistance to individuals in their daily activities and personal care needs in a home setting. Available shift times vary depending on the client's needs; hours can be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medication as prescribed.
• Assist with housekeeping and light housekeeping tasks, including laundry.
• Monitor and document patient health and behavior, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Support individuals with disabilities and seniors in their daily routines, fostering independence and dignity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare field preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation and current valid driver's license if applicable.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
