Caregiver CNA Flexible Day Shifts

About the role

FirstLight Home Care of Greater Lansing & Brighton is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides for flexible daytime shifts in Highland, Brighton, and Howell, MI. The role offers consistent daytime shifts (9 AM–2 PM) in Highland, additional short 3–4‑hour shifts in Brighton & Howell, and the ability to stack shifts to build a full‑time schedule if desired.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with daily care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping and simple meal prep
• Supporting mobility and keeping clients safe at home
• Communicating with the team so care stays consistent

Requirements

• Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or similar role preferred
• Reliable, patient, and kind
• Comfortable working in different homes
• Reliable transportation (may see more than one client)
• Someone who shows up and truly cares

Schedule

• Part‑time or build to full‑time hours
• Day shifts with 3–5 hour visits available
• Consistent daytime shift in Highland: 9 AM–2 PM
