About This Client & Case

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Client: Larger adult male who uses a walker and requires hands-on assistance with mobility and daily activities

• Mobility & Safety: Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safely navigating the home using a walker
• Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Daily Support: Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and engagement in activities the client enjoys

Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable and physically capable of providing hands-on mobility assistance to a larger individual

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using a walker
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Provide medication reminders and companionship
• Engage the client in activities they enjoy
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment in the client’s home

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of caregiving experience (personal or professional) in a home care setting
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week
• CNA certification preferred, but not required
• Comfort and experience with mobility assistance, ambulation, and transfers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Competitive Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 / hour based on experience and licensing
