We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to assist a female client with post-stroke care needs and vascular dementia. This position requires a caregiver who is comfortable providing hands-on, higher-level care in a home setting.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Client Details

• A female client with post-stroke complications and vascular dementia
• Requires hands-on assistance with most daily activities
• Lives at home with her daughter
• One friendly dog in the home

Care Needs Include

• Assistance with transfers and mobility (may require gait belt)
• Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Feeding and meal assistance
• Close supervision for safety due to dementia
• Companionship and structured daily routine
• Light housekeeping related to client care

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with dementia and stroke recovery care required
• Comfortable with hands-on care and mobility assistance
• Patient, attentive, and reliable
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
• Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
• Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
• Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
• Consent to drug and alcohol testing
• TB test

Pay

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
