Pay
$20 - $21/hr
Schedule
- Monday through Friday (between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM)
- Split shift every day of the week (8a-12p, 4p-8p) — memory care experience required (ask about shift during interview)
- Weekend shifts 2p-10p (ask about shift during interview)
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs rarely
- Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app
- Ability to pass a state and national background check
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record to get to client visits
- Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
Caregivers with experience in Hoyer's, Dementia, and mental health are a plus. Caregivers comfortable with pets and smokers in home are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
- Cooking and/or serving meals
- Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
- Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
- Monitoring and reporting on their condition
- Other activities of daily living as assigned

Oregon only — if you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings.
