Caregiver

About the role

Provide non-medical elderly care and companionship, assisting clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores. Maintain accurate documentation of shifts and communicate regularly with the office regarding client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform household chores including laundry and grocery shopping
• Provide companionship and support to clients, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Complete shift documentation and submit timely updates
• Communicate routinely with the office about client condition and needs

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• A driver’s license is preferred but not required
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts
• Compassionate, punctual, and dependable individuals who enjoy working with senior citizens
