About the role

The Visiting Angels office in Wichita Falls seeks dedicated individuals to provide compassionate care to senior adults and those in need within the North Texas area.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Ambulate and assist clients with mobility
• Provide personal care and hygiene support
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' assistance
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Shop for clients or accompany them to shops
• Support clients with routine exercises
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies

Requirements

• Passion to serve others
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Understanding of housekeeping and cooking with dietary constraints
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate attitude
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethical standards
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
