About the role

The Visiting Angels office in Tupelo seeks dedicated individuals to join our caregiving team. We serve the Northeast Mississippi area including Amory, Coldwater, Batesville, Rienzi, Iuka, Booneville, Tishimingo, Walnut, and more.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Ambulate and assist clients with mobility
• Provide personal care and hygiene support
• Plan and prepare meals with clients’ assistance
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Shop for clients or accompany them
• Be a companion and support person
• Report any unusual incidents
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies

Requirements

• Passion to serve others
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Housekeeping and cooking skills with dietary considerations
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate attitude
• Good time management and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
