About the role

The Visiting Angels office in Kansas City is seeking dedicated caregivers to support senior adults and those in need within the Kansas City Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Ambulate and assist clients with mobility
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Plan and prepare meals with clients
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Shop for clients or accompany them
• Support clients during doctor’s appointments and walks
• Report unusual incidents and act responsibly in emergencies

Requirements

• Passion to serve others
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Housekeeping and cooking skills with dietary considerations
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate attitude
• Good time management and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
