Position Summary
Role~ Caregiver with Giving Hearts Home Care Provide non-medical, in-home support to help seniors maintain independence. We value caregivers’ dedication, hard work, and compassion and are expanding our team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid with stand-by care, including bathing and dressing.
- Help with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
- Provide supervision and companionship.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Prepare and serve meals following dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with walks and light exercise.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments; driving may be required.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry, including making beds and changing linens.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- English proficiency required.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must hold at least one of the following~ PCA (Personal Care Aide), HHA (Home Health Aide), or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
- Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if otherwise qualified and fully authorized to work in the U.S.
Background Checks & Health Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check and a PPD (tuberculosis) test is mandatory.
Work Authorization
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide required employment documentation (e.g., Social Security Number) for hiring and payroll.
